Dr. Sevcik grew up in Cedar Falls, IA and completed his undergraduate studies at Loras College in Dubuque, IA, receiving his B.S. in Biology, with Minors in Chemistry and Spanish. He then received his medical education at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, IA. Dr. Sevcik completed a comprehensive three-year podiatric surgical residency at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, OH where he served as chief resident in his third year. His training focused on sports medicine, repair of foot and ankle deformities, foot and ankle trauma, wound care, limb salvage, ortho-plastic surgery, and peripheral nerve surgery. He is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He looks forward to treating all patients whether they run, walk, hobble, or roll though his door. 

Dr. Sevcik values treating each patient as family. He ensures his patients are well informed about their conditions. He stays up to date with recent medical literature and uses this information to offer great care to his patients, whether it be surgical or non-surgical care. 

Dr. Sevcik is married to his wife Jessi, and they have 2 children. He enjoys being active in his local church. An avid long-distance runner, he has run the Boston Marathon on multiple occasions.
